Established in 2008 by Michael Walsh who has over 30 years of combine experience in the building and home inspection trades. Michael’s goal was to establish Sun Valley Home Inspections as the inspection company that you can trust with your home inspection needs. This was quickly accomplished through his dedication to clients, fair and honest reporting and extensive technical knowledge.
Our Certified Professional Home Inspector license is in good standing by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (Member # NACHI 17051629). As such, we are required to adhere to InterNACHI’s (link) home inspection Standards of Practice and to abide by InterNACHI’s home inspector’s Code of Ethics.
Now retired from the home inspection profession, Michael wanted Sun Valley Home Inspections to continue as a premier provider of home inspections in the Wood River Valley and Blaine County Idaho. Aaron Heugly took over the business in 2018 bringing his wealth of knowledge and skills as the new owner and inspector. Aaron began inspecting homes in 2005 and has over 13 years of combined experience in the home inspection, building trades and property maintenance fields.
Aaron Heugly carries on Michael’s history of professionalism, honesty and excellent customer service. Clients who do business with Aaron find him to be personable, detail-oriented, and integrous.

The inspecter arrived promptly, clearly explained what the inspection would consist of, conducted the inspection thoroughly and unobtrusively and left the property exactly as it was before the inspection. His inspection report was timely and complete.
